Hakgala Flower Garden

Hakgala Botanical Garden is about 28 hectares in extent and the second largest botanical garden in the country. It lies at an elevation of approximately 1,745 meters above mean sea level under the shadow of the Hakgala Rock. The garden takes the shape of several terraces upon the lower slopes of the rock. The flora of the garden is distinctly subtropical and consists of representatives of the indigenous, montane flora intermingled with those introduced from other subtropical countries, systematically planted in various sections of the garden.
